ER Plus Instructors


Cheryl Morgan - CSO, CSS

Cheryl has worked as a Health and Safety professional for several years, having received her initial Safety Officer Training with the BC Safety Council.  Her areas of expertise are construction, marine, first aid, and workplace training.  She is one of the Lead Instructors for ER Plus Risk Management and is the co-facilitator for the Trade Safety Coordinator/Construction Safety Officer course.  She utilizes her knowledge and experiences as an OFA and CSO to bring practical and realistic solutions to her students. 
Cheryl creates customized Health and Safety courses for clients to provide their worker’s with the highest quality education to ensure that they are able to perform their jobs effectively and safely.
Recently, Cheryl has received both the Construction Safety Officer designation from the ASTTBC as well as the Construction Safety Specialist designation from the BCCSA. She is currently working towards an International Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety for the NEBOSH designation.

Rory Stevens - CSS, OFA III, BA

Rory has extensive experience in safety consulting and first aid. Rory first began his career in Health and Safety as a First Aid Attendant with ER Plus and was quickly promoted to Lead First Attendant. Rory has worked as part of the Risk Management Team at many festivals, concerts, city and sporting events including managing first aid crews on behalf of ER Plus. Rory also works as our Field Supervisor to liaise with our clients and staff in the field to ensure quality control and client satisfaction.
He has continued to build on his knowledge in OH&S by obtaining many certifications and working in the field as an OFA/CSC as well as working within the ER Plus Consulting Division. He has completed the CSO course, "Train the Trainer" courses; and the COR auditor course. Rory graduated on the UFV Dean's list with a Bachelor of Arts. Upon graduation, Rory expanded his company role to Safety Consulting and eventually becoming the Manager of Corporate Safety Consulting at ER Plus. In addition to Consulting,
Rory also creates and teaches various courses for ER Plus and uses his experience in the field to create an interactive and stimulating classroom experience. He is also an active member and speaker of the CSSE. Rory has been with ER Plus for five years and is working towards his Gold Seal and CRSP designation.

Tonya Lines - SHEM, CSS, OFA III
Tonya has extensive experience in safety consulting and first aid. She started her career in Health and Safety as a First Aid Attendant and has continued to expand on her education by completing the CSO course, a Diploma in OH&S, Ergonomics Coordinator Certificate, Psychological Health & Safety Workplace Certificate, along with many other certifications. She is currently achieving her Diploma in Disability Management at SFU.
Tonya worked as an OH&S Advisor before eventually becoming the Workplace Safety Training & Contract Personnel Manager. She manages client requests for contract personnel as well as training courses. Additionally, Tonya  works to liaise with our clients and staff in the field to ensure quality control and client satisfaction.
Her commitment to providing the highest quality service to both her clients and staff is evident through her attention to detail and constant strive for excellence. As a Health & Safety Advisor, she has overseen several projects and brings this experience to the classroom as one of ER Plus’ instructors. Tonya also commits her time to volunteering on the NAOSH committee as Secretary. She is currently working towards her CRSP designation.
